The 6W/16 is a stainless-steel monopusher chronograph the Canadian government contracted for the RCAF and RCN from the early 1960s through the 1970s, built by three manufacturers: Breitling and Rodania made 36 mm cases with sterile dials on the handwound Valjoux caliber 236, while Omega's 38 mm version ran the handwound Lemania caliber 2221 and was sometimes signed with its name and logo. All three share a white dial with a 30-minute totalizer at 3 o'clock, a running seconds sub-register at 9 o'clock, and lumed Arabic numerals, the case stamped for service branch and issue number. Since the three makers built to the same specification, the manufacturer of any screen-worn example is often unresolvable without a clear dial shot. (Worn & Wound)
