Askania Tegel TEG-9803
More actions
The Askania Tegel TEG-9803 is the black-dial automatic in the Berlin maker's Tegel line, named for the hexagonal 1960s terminal of Berlin Tegel airport and styled after Bauhaus dials: a 42 mm polished steel case with sapphire crystal and display back, rated to 5 bar, whose black dial carries Arabic numerals, a date and a central small-seconds indication read against an inner ring. Inside is Askania's calibre 2062S, a 21-jewel automatic on the Miyota 8215 base with about 40 hours of reserve; the maker listed it at 1,790 euros in September 2026. (Askania) Askania AG was refounded in Berlin in 2004 and has built watches there since 2006 under the name of the Askania Werke, the precision-instrument company that grew from Carl Bamberg's 1871 workshop.
