The Bremont ALT1-WT Worldtimer began as a commission: in 2010 the crew of a military C-17 Globemaster asked Bremont for a global timer, and the civilian version arrived in 2012, keeping the etched globe the military dial had carried. (Bremont; WatchProSite) The case is the familiar 43 mm Bremont Trip-Tick, but a second crown at 8 o'clock drives an internally rotating bi-directional ring marked with the world's time zones (Bremont's Roto-Click system), read against a 24-hour UTC hand for Zulu time. Underneath that layer it is a full chronograph on the modified BE-54AE automatic, an ETA 7754 base. (Quill & Pad) That second time-zone apparatus is what separates it from the ALT1-P2, a plain pilot's chronograph on the same case and movement family.
