The Bulova 96A102 is a 2009 commemorative reissue of the hack watch Bulova supplied to US forces in the Second World War; surviving examples carry Bulova's A9 production code. (WatchCharts; Bulova date-code guide) Its 40 mm sandblasted steel case holds a quartz Miyota caliber 7584 beneath domed acrylic. The matte black dial has luminous Arabic numerals, an inner 24-hour ring and small seconds at six. Pulling the crown stops that seconds hand, allowing synchronization to the second. (KeepTheTime)
