The Casio W-217H-1AV is the plain black execution of the W-217H, the wide rectangular digital Casio introduced in 2018 on module 3454. It shares its module and its case with the amber-faced W217H-9AV and differs from it only in finish: black resin with a thin blue pinstripe framing a grey positive LCD, against the -9AV's gold. Module 3454 keeps the count low and the digits large: time with day and date, a 1/100-second stopwatch, one daily alarm and an amber LED backlight.
