The Casio W-218HD-1AV is the steel-bracelet finish of the W-218H, the resin digital Casio first released in 2018. Bezel and case are resin over a 44.4 × 43.2 × 10.8 mm footprint rated to 50 m, and the functions are the standard inexpensive-Casio set: 12- or 24-hour time, an auto-calendar, a daily alarm, an hourly time signal, a 1/100-second stopwatch with elapsed, split and place timing, and an LED backlight, running about seven years on a CR2016. Sold for around $34, the silver-toned version has drawn most of its attention for how closely it resembles Casio's far costlier full-metal G-Shock square. (Casio Fan Magazine, G-Central)
