The Chase-Durer Special Forces 1000XL UDT is a military-styled quartz diving chronograph. Reference 246.4BB7-XL-BR is the black-PVD version, with a 44 mm stainless-steel case, screw-down crown and pushers, and 300 m water resistance. Its 27-jewel Swiss ETA 251.262 quartz movement times to a tenth of a second, with 60-minute and 12-hour totalisers plus split-lap timing, under an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and ratcheted unidirectional bezel. The exact reference is identified on Jeffrey Donovan in Burn Notice, and a September 2008 contemporary post records that he was then wearing the 1000XL UDT, establishing availability by 2008.
