The Dior Homme Chiffre Rouge D02 is a self-winding sports watch from the Chiffre Rouge line, which Dior launched in 2004 under Dior Homme designer Hedi Slimane as the house's entry into men's mechanical watchmaking. The line's signature is a deliberately asymmetric case with the crown pushed round to 4 o'clock instead of the usual 3, and red worked in as an accent, Christian Dior's own colour. This D02 measures 42 mm in stainless steel and textured matte black rubber, with a unidirectional bezel, a sapphire crystal, a black dial carrying a date indicator, and a transparent red case back over the automatic movement.
