An unidentified steel dive watch worn by Donald Glover as John Smith in Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2024). Few watch categories have a written definition behind the name: ISO 6425 covers watches built for at least 100 m and fitted with "a secured measuring system to indicate the diving time, which is visible in darkness", in practice a unidirectional bezel that cannot be knocked into a flattering reading (ISO). The still shows the architecture: a steel case, a dark rotating bezel with a coin-edged rim, round applied markers and a khaki fabric strap. Costume designer Madeline Weeks built John as a collector, naming Rolex, Audemars Piguet and Patek Philippe pieces (GQ), but no dial text is legible here and nothing establishes whether this is one of them.
