File:My Blueberry Nights (2007) - IWC Big Pilot's Watch scene.jpg

Summary

Description: Jude Law as café owner Jeremy stands behind the counter of his Manhattan shop, resting his right forearm on the counter edge beside a flower vase while Elizabeth (Norah Jones) sleeps with her head down beside him. A large wristwatch with a dark strap is visible on his wrist, catching the counter light. Blu-ray screencap frame 045 from the film's opening New York act. Retrieved via the Wayback Machine capture dated 2017-06-30, since the live screenmusings.org gallery path currently returns 404; the site's root domain is still live and the page is indexed by Google, so this reads as a temporary reorganization rather than a takedown. Retrieved: 2026-08-18 License or editorial purpose: Single frame from a commercially released home-video edition, used editorially on a non-commercial watch-identification catalog for critical commentary and identification of an on-screen prop, not for its own artistic value. Modifications: None. File is exactly as downloaded (1920x808 px, JPEG). The source gallery pre-crops its Blu-ray screencaps to remove the film's 2.40:1 letterbox bars before publishing, which is why there are no black bars in the delivered frame; no cropping, resizing, or other editing was performed here. Fake-upscale check (Lanczos downscale to 960x404 then bicubic upscale back to 1920x808) gave a mean absolute pixel difference of 1.24/255, comfortably above the near-zero reading a fabricated upscale would show, consistent with a genuine encode.
