File:Sphere (1998) - Rolex Submariner scene.jpg

Summary

Description: Publicity still from Sphere (1998). Sharon Stone, as Dr. Beth Halperin, sits between Samuel L. Jackson (background) and Liev Schreiber (foreground right) with her right arm draped over a chair back, exposing a steel wristwatch with a black dial and metal bracelet worn on her right wrist, matching the appearance's notes that identify it as a steel Rolex Submariner Date. Pictures production/unit publicity still, hosted via MovieStillsDB.com (the site's own metadata lists the full asset at 3000x1992px; only a 600x399px preview is accessible without a paid donor/contributor account) Retrieved: 2026-08-18 License or editorial purpose: Editorial use. Studio-issued publicity still for the 1998 Warner Bros. film Sphere, used here to document an on-screen watch appearance for a non-commercial reference catalog, consistent with editorial/identification use of promotional stills. Modifications: Downloaded the site's 600x399px preview JPEG (the largest size accessible without payment) and cropped the bottom edge from 600x399 to 600x362 (removed the bottom 37px, 9.3% of height) to remove the "MovieStillsDB.com" watermark badge that sat in the bottom-right corner. No content in the region of Sharon Stone, her extended right arm, or the watch was removed; the cropped strip contained only black background and the lower edge of Liev Schreiber's shirt cuff, which was already partly obscured by the watermark badge itself. No resizing, upscaling, recoloring, or other alteration was made. Related page: Sphere (1998)
