The Hamilton Cushion B is an early-1930s American dress watch named for its cushion case, a square with softened, bulging sides and one of the period's signature shapes, from the years when Hamilton was a Pennsylvania manufacture building gold and gold-filled watches in the Art Deco style. It is small and formal by modern measure, a watch for a cuff rather than a wrist worn bare. Like the Endicott, it reaches the screen through casting rather than placement: Hamilton sourced genuine 1930s and 1940s examples from collectors for Oppenheimer, and the Cushion B is one of the three vintage Hamiltons Cillian Murphy wears in the film, chosen for period accuracy.
