The Hamilton Endicott is a 1930s American dress watch from Hamilton's Lancaster, Pennsylvania era, when the firm was a domestic manufacture making solid-gold and gold-filled dress watches in the Art Deco idiom — rectangular and stepped cases, applied numerals, small size by modern standards. It belongs to the run of named US models Hamilton built before it moved production to Switzerland decades later. Its screen life is entirely period casting: for Oppenheimer, Hamilton and Christopher Nolan chose not to design a new watch but to source genuine 1930s and 1940s pieces from collectors, and the Endicott is one of three vintage Hamiltons Cillian Murphy wears as Oppenheimer, picked for documentary accuracy rather than product placement.
