The Hublot Classic was the brand's founding collection, introduced in 1980 under the "MDM Genève" name with the porthole-shaped steel or gold case and natural rubber strap that defined Hublot's early identity. It predates the "Classic Fusion" line that replaced it in the brand's catalog from 2004 onward. (1stDibs)
