The IWC Aquatimer Automatic 2000 reference IW358002, from 2014, is IWC's deep-diving flagship, rated to a full 2000 metres. A satin-finished titanium case around 46 mm across (light for its depth rating) houses the in-house Calibre 80110, an automatic movement with IWC's Pellaton winding system running at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 44-hour power reserve. Dive time is governed by the patented SafeDive system, coupling an external bezel to an internal unidirectional timing ring through a sealed gear train, and the screwed caseback carries a diving-helmet engraving. Unlike the brand's other Aquatimers, its reinforced construction and multi-layer sealing target saturation depths well beyond recreational limits. (Monochrome)
