The IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph reference IW377714 is the midnight-blue "Le Petit Prince" edition of IWC's classic aviator chronograph. It sets a 43 mm stainless steel case around a Valjoux 7750-based automatic chronograph movement (Calibre 79320) running at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 44-hour power reserve. A soft-iron inner case shields the movement from magnetic fields, while the dial pairs a combined day-and-date window at three o'clock with stacked 12-hour and 60-minute counters and small running seconds, the whole rated to 6 bar. Descended from IWC's Mark-series flight instruments, it carries cockpit-legible luminous numerals and the orientation triangle at twelve into a modern, everyday chronograph. (WatchMaxx)
