The Longines Master Collection is Longines' flagship line of dressed three-hand, chronograph, and moonphase watches, launched in 2005 to reinterpret several of the brand's historic references at modern sizes. Three-hand models run Longines' automatic Calibre L888 (a modified ETA A31.L01) at an unhurried 25,200 vibrations per hour for a 72-hour reserve, with the hairspring upgraded across generations: standard alloy before 2018, Nivachron from 2018–2021, and silicon on 2021-onward higher-tier references. Moonphase models instead run Calibre L899, trading beat rate for the same 64-hour reserve. The line spans steel, two-tone, and gold cases from roughly 34 to 42 mm, and Longines redesigned the full range for 2026. (We Know Watches; Worldtempus)
