The MTM Special Ops Cobra is a titanium chronograph from MTM, the Los Angeles tactical-watch maker, in the Black DLC reference C44BBDTITMTM. Its 44 mm case is machined from solid titanium, finished in black diamond-like carbon and 15.5 mm thick, with a black dial carrying a chronograph sub-dial, Super-LumiNova markers and a unidirectional ratcheting bezel. A sapphire crystal and a locking screw-down crown take it to 200 m of water resistance. Power comes from a Japanese Miyota OS-80 quartz chronograph movement on a lithium cell rated for roughly three years. The blacked-out titanium build and rotating bezel give the Cobra the character of a dive-ready field chronograph rather than a dress watch. (MTM)
