The Nixon Regulus is the California brand's rugged, shock-oriented digital, launched in 2016 as its answer to the G-Shock; this Sand colorway wears reference A1180-2711-00. Its 46 mm case is molded from lightweight TR-90 and wrapped in a protective PU jacket with Poron foam padding for shock absorption, rated to 100 m (10 ATM). The custom LCD module, developed with input from US special-forces operators, provides dual time, dual chronographs to 1/100 second, three independent alarms, a countdown timer, silent mode, an adjustable LED backlight and a five-year battery. Purpose-built as a tough tactical tool rather than a fashion piece, the Regulus is Nixon's most survival-minded watch. (Nixon)
