Introduced in February 2020, the Nixon Staple (reference A1309) is a low-profile everyday digital watch. (Nixon via Milled) Its 39 mm case is molded from fiber-reinforced recycled ocean plastics, runs about 12 mm thick, and is rated to 100 m beneath a hardened mineral crystal. The custom LCD module uses dual independent mode loops and a layout that shows any two functions at once, plus a 1/100-second chronograph, timer, alarm, day/date calendar through 2099 and an EL backlight.
