The Nixon Staple (reference A1309) is a low-profile digital watch offered by the California brand as an everyday, wear-anywhere piece. Its 39 mm case is molded from fiber-reinforced recycled ocean plastics, runs about 12 mm thick, and is rated to 100 m (10 ATM) beneath a hardened mineral crystal, on a 22 mm rubber-blend strap. The custom LCD module uses dual independent mode loops and a customizable layout that shows any two functions at once, plus a chronograph to 1/100 second, timer, alarm, day/date calendar through 2099 and an EL backlight.
