Its round stainless steel case, about 41 by 35 by 6.8 mm, carries a mineral-glass crystal over an off-white dial reading "Hokko Tarumae" with a pleated-skirt-patterned border and a hair-ribbon-colored seconds hand tipped with a sparkling star, on an off-white cowhide strap with red-and-light-blue stitching; a drawn "chibi" Hokko Tarumae peeks up at 6.
