The Panerai PAM 382 Bronzo is the 47 mm bronze-cased Submersible whose patina made it an instant collector's item; 1,000 were made in 2011 as Panerai's first bronze watch, its CuSn8 alloy chosen to echo the corrosion-resistant bronze fittings of historical Italian Navy diving equipment. Its automatic caliber P.9000 gives a 72-hour reserve, and the design was followed by the 2013 Bronzo Power Reserve (PAM00507) and the 2019 Submersible Bronzo (PAM00968), Panerai's first watch with a brown ceramic bezel insert.
