The Q Timex Red Vega is a late-1970s quartz Timex from the Q line, distinguished by a bold red marbleized dial under a domed acrylic crystal and a day/date window. Timex revived the design as the "Q Timex 1978 Reissue" in a 38 mm brushed-and-polished steel case, explicitly marketing it as the watch John Travolta wore as Vincent Vega in Pulp Fiction. The screen-worn original later sold at auction for a reported $6,400. The identification is not unanimous: some collectors argue the on-screen piece is the related Q Timex "Nebula" rather than the Red Vega, so the model is best read at family level pending a clean frame.
