The Seiko TV Watch (reference T001) is the world's first wristwatch television, released in 1982 and entered in the Guinness Book of Records as the smallest TV set ever made. A 1.2-inch monochrome LCD on the wrist showed the picture, but the watch alone could not tune it: a cable ran to a separate pocket receiver holding the analogue tuner, demodulator and battery, so wearing the television meant carrying the rest of it. It also took FM radio through a headphone jack, and it cost about $495 in the mid-1980s. The gadget was improbable enough that Q Branch barely had to embellish it — Seiko's own product was already the futuristic prop. (Monochrome)
