The Suunto Vector XBlack is an all-black version of the Vector, the altimeter, barometer and compass watch the Finnish instrument maker built its outdoor reputation on. The composite case measures 51.4 × 45.6 × 15.3 mm and weighs 54 g, with an acrylic crystal, an elastomer strap, 30 m water resistance and a user-replaceable CR2430 cell good for about twelve months. A barometric altimeter reads from -500 to 9000 m in 5 m steps, the digital compass is accurate to 5° with a bubble level for tilt, and the barometer keeps four days of weather history alongside a trend indicator. Three daily alarms, a stopwatch and an electroluminescent backlight round it out. (Suunto)
