Victorinox Infantry Chronograph
More actions
The Victorinox Infantry Chronograph debuted in 2003, when Victorinox added a chronograph to its military-inspired Infantry collection. It is the knife-maker's steel quartz chronograph line, distinct from the brand's separate Infantry Vintage Chronograph series and its simpler three-hand Infantry. Built around a 40 mm case, Ronda 5030D quartz movement, sapphire crystal, and 100 m water resistance, the line was sold across black, grey, silver, and PVD-finished dial executions on leather straps, mesh, or steel bracelets, and has since been discontinued. (Europa Star; Watch Hunter) Deployant identifies a black-cased example on the wrist of Tom Yates in House of Cards, reading the sub-$500 Victorinox as a deliberate contrast to the Rolexes, IWCs, and Cartiers surrounding him.
