The Victorinox Swiss Army Infantry is the knife-maker's mid-2000s take on the classic military field watch: a 38mm stainless case, Swiss quartz movement, dial with oversized Arabic numerals over an inner 24-hour track, date at 3 o'clock, and 100m water resistance on canvas or leather. The line ran in several dial executions (Victorinox reference libraries catalog the white dial as 24654 and its silver sibling as 24656) before later Infantry generations replaced it. Its best-known screen posting is Jim Halpert's wrist through most of The Office (2005), where the white-dial version reads as the most sensible watch in the building. (Watch Hunter)
