The Victorinox Swiss Army Lancer 100 debuted by January 1996, when Horological Times announced the new Lancer 100 and 200. The Lancer 100 came in red, green, blue, or black with matching rotating bezels, Swiss quartz movements, luminous hands and markers, military-time scales, date windows, steel bracelets, and 100-metre water resistance. (Horological Times) The line is discontinued: WatchHunter documents it as a vintage model sold in the 1990s and early-to-mid-2000s from surviving advertisements, catalogs, packaging, and old websites. (WatchHunter) The black-dial model worn in The X-Files has a 38 mm steel case; Mulder's example appears on a non-standard strap. (Iconic Hours)
