Whip It is a 2009 coming-of-age comedy about Bliss Cavendar, a teenager who escapes small-town expectations through an Austin roller derby league. Elliot Page plays Bliss, wearing the keypad-equipped Casio CA-53W-1 as the character moves between pageants, school, and the rink. (IMDb)
Watches
- Casio CA-53W-1
- Worn by Elliot Page as Bliss Cavendar. Bliss wears the black calculator watch on her left wrist while sitting with Pash outside the Oink Joint; the keypad and case layout identify Casio's CA-53W-1. (MovieStillsDB publicity still) Bliss sits beside Pash with an arm resting across her raised knee, leaving the calculator watch exposed beneath a short sleeve. The dark rectangular case is visible near her hand. This publicity view ties the watch to the pair's outdoor conversation, rather than showing the calculator function being operated. (scene image)
