The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore "End of Days", reference 25770SN, was Audemars Piguet's first watch with a black-coated case, a 42 mm steel body with black PVD, yellow Arabic numerals, and a magnified date window, built at the request of Arnold Schwarzenegger for the 1999 film of the same name. It runs the automatic AP caliber 2226/2840, a Jaeger-LeCoultre-based movement with a Dubois-Dépraz chronograph module, and was limited to 500 pieces. (Oracle Time) Phillips' 2022 auction catalog names a distinct prototype (case No. 248) as Schwarzenegger's actual on-set piece, later gifted to producer Bill Borden; it differs from this edition in non-luminous yellow markers and a plainer caseback.
