The Cartier Calibre de Cartier W7100037 is the large model of the Calibre de Cartier in steel on a strap. The case is 42 mm across, with a faceted steel crown set with a synthetic blue spinel and a silvered opaline dial carrying Roman numerals, a small-seconds counter at six o'clock and a calendar aperture at three, on black alligator. Inside is the automatic 1904-PS MC, Cartier's first self-winding caliber made in-house, introduced in 2010 and put into this collection first. What sets the reference apart from its close siblings is the fitting rather than the watch: W7100015 and W7100016 are the same 42 mm steel case on a steel bracelet, in silver and black dials respectively.
