The Big Wedding

A long-divorced couple fakes being married as their family unites for a wedding. (IMDb) Written and directed by Justin Zackham as a remake of the 2006 Swiss-French comedy Mon frère se marie, the Lionsgate ensemble comedy was released on 26 April 2013. Robert De Niro and Diane Keaton play Don and Ellie Griffin, who resume playing husband and wife for the benefit of the devoutly Catholic birth mother of their adopted son Alejandro (Ben Barnes), alongside Susan Sarandon, Katherine Heigl, Topher Grace, Amanda Seyfried and Robin Williams as the officiating priest.
