The Casio A158WA-1 is the small chrome-finished digital Casio has sold, essentially unchanged, for decades: module 593 in a 36.8 × 33.2 mm chrome-plated resin case on a stainless-steel folded-link bracelet, with a 1/100-second stopwatch, a daily alarm, a full auto-calendar and a small green LED lamp, holding ±30 seconds a month and running about seven years on a CR2016. (Casio; module 593 manual) Its ubiquity is the point on screen: costume departments reach for the A158 when a character should read as unbothered by watches, and that same ubiquity makes identification contested, with spotters split between the A158 and the near-identical A168 for Ke Huy Quan's Waymond in Everything Everywhere All at Once and for Mole's "Time-Date" digital in Fantastic Mr. Fox.
