The teenage Dexter Morgan of 1991 Miami wears the Casio A158WA-1, the stainless-braceleted digital that has run in Casio's catalog largely unchanged for decades: alarm, stopwatch, backlight, around $15, and period-correct for the setting. A wrist close-up makes the CASIO branding and the A158's mesh-look bracelet legible on screen. Casio G-Shock DW-5600

Worn by Alex Shimizu as Vince Masuka. The young Vince Masuka, Miami Metro's eager forensics tech in 1991, wears a black square Casio G-Shock, clearly a DW-5600-type at a forensics-lab desk. The spotting source names the modern DW-5600UE-1, which would be an anachronism against the show's 1991 setting where the period-correct square would be the DW-5600C or DW-5600E; the frame resolves the square resin case and negative display but no legible module or case-back detail, so the record stays at the DW-5600 line.
