The Casio Databank DBC-30 is a 1995 entry in the Databank line Casio began in the early 1980s, when watches such as the CD-40 first put stored personal data on the wrist. Running module 1253, released in January 1995, the DBC-30 pairs a thirty-page Telememo directory of names and numbers with memo storage, schedule alarms, an eight-digit calculator behind its trademark keypad, and an electro-luminescent Illuminator backlight in a black resin case; the DBC-30-1Z is the black-resin catalog execution.
