The Casio G-Shock GA-100MB-1A is the GA-100 as Casio blacked it out for the Military Black series of January 2015, one of four existing models given the same treatment alongside the GA-110MB, the GD-120MB and the GD-400MB. Case, bezel, band and buttons are matte rather than gloss, the hardware and dial furniture with them, and the only relief is green: the printed legends, the sub-register markings and the LCD segments. The finish is the whole difference, since the 55 mm resin case, the 200 m rating and module 5081 are the 2010 original's. The blackout has a cost: black on matte black, the dial resolves at distance as one dark disc, hard to tell from any other 55 mm G-Shock without the green. (Casio; Police Magazine, 2015)
