S.W.A.T.

S.W.A.T. is a CBS police procedural developed by Aaron Rahsaan Thomas and Shawn Ryan, reworking the 1975 series and its 2003 film adaptation across eight seasons between November 2017 and May 2025. Shemar Moore stars as Sergeant Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson, a former Marine and lifelong South Los Angeles resident promoted to lead an LAPD Special Weapons and Tactics unit after a controversial shooting, with the brief of easing the department's standing in the neighbourhoods it polices.
