The Casio G-Shock GW-M5610UMOT21-1JR is the first MOTHER x G-Shock, by Hobonichi's MOTHER Project and Casio on the Tough Solar, Multi-Band 6 GW-M5610U square for Shigesato Itoi's 1989 Famicom game Mother. It keeps the black case and band but prints the MOTHER logo in the game's gold and blue where Shock Resist normally sits and a dotted "SMAAAASH!!" in place of the water-resist label and engraves the series' Earth mark and the Itoi and Nintendo copyright on the case back; the solar module rules out a backlight silhouette. Hobonichi sold it by lottery from January 20 to 27, 2022 at ¥23,100 as a limited production with no re-release. It is licensed merchandise credited to Nintendo through the Hobonichi MOTHER Project, not a watch that appears in the game. (Hobonichi MOTHER Project; G-Central)
