The Casio G-Shock GW-7900-1 is the standard-display half of the GW-7900, the solar radio-controlled addition Casio made to its G-Rescue series on 1 October 2009. It runs module 3193 in a resin case with four exposed front screws and oversized buttons meant to be worked through gloves, adding a tide graph and moon-age display to Tough Solar charging and Multi-Band 6 reception. (Casio) Casio issued the model in two display polarities, each with its own module number rather than a colour code: 3193 shows dark figures on a light background, 3200 light figures on a dark one. The GW-7900-1 is the 3193 version, the GW-7900B-1 the 3200; the catalogue records both as black, so the B is not a shade of resin but the inverted screen.
