The Casio G-Shock GW-7900B-1 is the inverted-display GW-7900, released on 1 October 2009 beside the GW-7900-1. The two share the resin case, the four-screw G-Rescue front, Tough Solar charging, Multi-Band 6 radio reception and a tide graph. What the B carries is a different module, 3200 rather than 3193, and Casio's operation guide explains the split in one line: 3193 puts dark figures on a light background, 3200 puts light figures on a dark one. (Casio; Casio Operation Guide 3193/3200) The suffix is a real distinction rather than a colourway, the launch copy adding a monotone grey ion-plated finish. The result reads on screen as a single dark slab: on Michael B. Jordan's John Kelly in Without Remorse the frames never resolve the display at all. (Casio, 2011; Shockbase)
