The Casio G-Shock GW-9500-3 Mudman is the dark green execution of the GW-9500, dated by Casio to 26 July 2023 and built on module 3553. Its headline feature is a dual-layer LCD: the upper layer draws the compass bearing as a large cross-shaped graphic while the lower keeps time and sensor readings, so a bearing stays legible in poor visibility without displacing everything else. Seating the glass into the bezel brought the case to 14.8 mm, 3.4 mm thinner than the GW-9300 it follows, so the watch clears a sleeve during work. A full Triple Sensor is what separates it from the mud-sealed but instrument-free GW9000A-1; the case back carries the Mudman mole holding a compass. (Casio)
