The Chopard L.U.C XPS 1860 Officer is an ultra-thin dress watch from L.U.C, the haute horlogerie line Chopard reserves for its own manufacture calibres; the 1860 in the name marks the year Louis-Ulysse Chopard founded the firm. Reference 161242-1001, introduced in 2017 as a 100-piece limited edition, cases the watch in 18-carat white gold, 40 mm across and under 8 mm deep, with a hand-guilloché honeycomb dial and an officer-style hinged back that opens over the movement. That movement is the L.U.C 96.01-L, a self-winding micro-rotor design running twin stacked barrels for a 65-hour reserve, showing hours, minutes, small seconds and date, with COSC certification and the Poinçon de Genève.
