The Concord Delirium Mariner is a variant of the Concord Delirium, the watch that won the late-1970s race to build the world's thinnest wristwatch. The original Delirium, developed by Concord with ETA and shown in 1979, measured 1.98 mm thick, achieved by using the caseback itself as the movement's base plate. The Mariner is an 18k yellow-gold execution with a black dial, quartz movement and Concord's ribbed "Twist-O-Flex" bracelet. Its screen credit is in Scarface (1983), where Tony Montana's watch was long misidentified as an Omega La Magique: the La Magique has a transparent floating-hands centre on a leather strap, while the on-screen piece shows a solid dark dial on a gold Twist-O-Flex bracelet. The identification remains probable rather than confirmed.
