The Doxa SUB 300 Sharkhunter is the black-dialled counterpart to Doxa's signature orange diver, built on the same 1967 case and no-decompression bezel developed with the US Navy but finished with a matte black face and stark white handset for divers who wanted maximum contrast over the orange dial's visibility-at-depth pitch. The precise vintage reference and caliber of the example in Three Days of the Condor (1975) are not documented, so the infobox does not assign the reference number or ETA movement of a modern reissue. The oversized, fattened minute hand that makes bezel timing easy underwater is shared across the SUB 300 family. (Worn & Wound)
