No crop, upscaling, sharpening, reconstruction or watermark removal was applied by this project, and the file carries its nominal detail honestly: a downscale and upscale round trip rises monotonically from 0.639 of 255 at four fifths scale to 1.309 at half and 2.424 at a quarter, with no plateau. The 1:1 crop was applied upstream before the file reached this catalog, taking 88.2 percent of the press still's width and 58.8 percent of its height, flush right. The wider 2:3 press still was deliberately NOT adopted in its place: at 1000x1500 it renders the watch 18.2 percent smaller linearly and, compared at matched scale, carries only about a third of the detail on the watch itself (spectral energy ratio 3.15 to 1, watch-region Laplacian variance 3.07 to 1).
