The Hamilton Broadway Ltd. pocket watch debuted with Hamilton's first watch production in 1893 and became the company's first pocket-watch series, marketed as "the Watch of Railroad Accuracy." (Smithsonian Institution; Teddy Baldassarre) Hamilton made the railroad-grade line in open-face and hunting-case configurations, the latter protecting the crystal with a hinged cover. Hamilton's historical film-credit page places a cover-equipped Broadway Ltd. on Anthony Hopkins in The Edge (1997), without naming a grade or reference.
