The Hamilton Broadway Ltd. pocket watch takes its name from the Pennsylvania Railroad's flagship New York–Chicago express, and belongs to the railroad-grade line Hamilton marketed as "the Watch of Railroad Accuracy" at the height of American rail travel. Hamilton built these 16-size, 17-jewel movements into both open-face and hunting-case configurations, the latter adding a hinged metal cover, opened by pressing the crown, that protects the crystal when the watch rides loose in a pocket. Hamilton's own historical film-credit page places a "Broadway Ltd." specifically in its cover-equipped hunting-case form on Anthony Hopkins in The Edge (1997), without giving a grade or reference.
