The Hamilton Khaki X-Mach is a discontinued Khaki Aviation automatic chronograph, launched around 2009 as a stablemate to the X-Wind. Where the X-Wind computes drift angles, the X-Mach plays on Mach numbers: its name and scaling nod to speed relative to the speed of sound, giving it a distinct cockpit-instrument theme. Reference H76626135 places a self-winding caliber H-21 chronograph, with day and date, in a large 44mm stainless-steel case with a black dial and a sapphire crystal, water resistant to 100 metres. No longer in Hamilton's catalogue, the X-Mach survives on the pre-owned market and distinguishes itself from its siblings by concept rather than by a movement or case unique to it. (WatchBase)
