Jardur Degreemeter
More actions
The Jardur Degreemeter is the 2012 revival of Jardur, the American aviation-instrument marque founded in New York in 1937, and it reissues the spirit of the brand's 1940s Bezelmeter 960 pilot's chronograph. It is a Swiss-made automatic chronograph built on the Valjoux/ETA 7750, cased in satin-finished stainless steel roughly 16 mm thick and water-resistant to 300 m, with a sapphire crystal, a signed screw-down crown and a rotating countdown bezel. Its signature is the red degreemeter scale on the dial: read against the sweeping chronograph hand, it was conceived to help a pilot gauge course change through a standard-rate turn, reviving a distinctive piece of American cockpit-instrument history.
