The Tomorrow War

Chris McKay's 2021 science-fiction feature opens with soldiers from 2051 arriving mid-broadcast to announce that humanity is losing a war against an alien species, and that the present day must supply the draftees. Chris Pratt plays Dan Forester, a high-school teacher and former Green Beret conscripted into a seven-day tour of the future, where he finds his adult daughter Muri commanding the research effort against the creatures.
